- 3 1/2 to 4 lb. lean country style ribs
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/3 c. cooking sherry
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 onion, stuck with cloves
- 2 cans beef broth
- 1/3 c. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Dredge ribs with flour, salt and pepper.

2Brown on all sides. Drain off fat from pan and add onion, bay leaf and beef broth. Bake about 2 to 3 hours at 350° or until fork-tender.

3Discard onion and bay leaf.
