- 2 lb. beef sirloin tip roast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef consomme
- 2/3 c. red Burgundy wine
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. hot water
Directions

1Brown meat in fat. Add beef consomme, red Burgundy wine, soy sauce, minced garlic and salt.

2Heat to boiling.

3Turn down heat and simmer until tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

4Combine cornstarch and hot water.

5Pour into meat mixture and cook until thickened. Serve over noodles or rice.
