Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 lb. London broil
  • 3 cans mushrooms, sliced (3 oz.)
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
  • 3 cans beef broth (10 oz. approximately)
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt and spice
  • 1 c. milk

    Slice meat into 1/4 x 2-inch strips.

    In electric skillet on high heat, add seasoned meat to hot oil.

    Cover, braise for 5 minutes, stirring often.

    Do not scorch.

    Add drained mushrooms and saute 5 more minutes.

    Add beef broth, simmer 20 to 30 minutes, covered.

    Stir often.

    Add flour, milk and Kitchen Bouquet mixture to thicken broth.

    Stirring frequently, cook until desired consistency.

    Serve tips and gravy over rice or egg noodles.
