- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. sugar or molasses
- 1 1/2 c. whole bran
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1In large bowl, beat egg, milk and oil.

2Stir in remaining ingredients.

3Mix until flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy). Fill greased cupcake pan 3/4 full.

4Bake at 400° until golden brown, about 18 to 20 minutes.

5Remove immediately from pan. Serve hot with butter or margarine.

6Makes 12 muffins.
