- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. 100% Bran (cereal)
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 1/2 c. plain flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. All-Bran (cereal)
Directions

1Pour water over 100% Bran. Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs, milk and 100% Bran. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Add All-Bran and let stand overnight in refrigerator before baking. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

2Makes 3 1/2 dozen. Batter keeps in refrigerator for 7 weeks.
