- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 c. 100% (Nabisco) Bran
- 1 c. shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 5 c. flour
- 5 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. buttermilk
- 4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
Directions

1Pour 2 cups boiling water over 100% Bran.

2Set aside.

3Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs. Sift and add flour, soda and salt into egg mixture. Add cooled Bran mixture.

4Stir in buttermilk and All-Bran. Bake in greased muffin tins at 400° about 20 to 22 minutes.

5Keep batter in refrigerator. Do not stir batter when you take some out! Makes 6 dozen muffins.
