Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
  • 4 eggs, beaten slightly with fork
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. baking soda
  • 5 c. flour
  • 4 c. Kellogg's All-Bran

Directions

    Pour boiling water over oleo.

    Be sure oleo melts.

    Add sugar and Bran.

    Add beaten eggs, buttermilk, salt and baking soda. Sift and add flour and Kellogg's All-Bran.

    Store batter in refrigerator until ready to use.

    Do not stir batter when filling muffin tins.

    Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
