  • 3 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. oil
  • 4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. soda
  • 1 qt. sour milk or buttermilk

    When ready to bake, fill lined muffin tins 2/3 full and let set 10 to 15 minutes, then bake at 350°
