- 2 c. All-Bran
- 1 c. 100% Bran
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix the 2 brans and boiling water; let stand.

2Mix eggs, shortening, sugar and buttermilk; add to bran.

3Sift flour, soda and salt.

4Fold into other mixture and stir well.

5Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.

6Makes 36 muffins.

7Batter may be kept in a covered container in refrigerator for 7 weeks and used as needed.
