- 2 cans minced clams
- 1 c. diced celery
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 qt. half and half
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. chopped potatoes
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Drain juice from clams and pour over vegetables; add enough water to barely cover and simmer, covered, until potatoes are tender, approximately 20 minutes.

2Then melt butter; add flour and blend.

3Cook 1 or 2 minutes; add half and half and cook, stirring, until smooth and thick.

4Add undrained vegetables and clams; heat through.

5Season with salt, pepper and sugar.
