- 1 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in water
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. salt to nearly 3 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water.

2Add sugar and oil.

3Add salt.

4Beat flour into liquid mixture real well; dump on floured surface. Knead in 1/2 to 3/4 cup flour.

5Knead almost 10 minutes.

6Grease bowl that dough was in; return dough to bowl.

7Let rise until double, approximately 1 1/2 hours.

8Punch down; shape into balls and place into greased loaf pan.

9Let rise again approximately 1 1/2 hours or until double.

10Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until very brown on top.

11Remove from oven and rub butter on top.

12Will make approximately 2 dozen rolls or 1 loaf of bread.
