- 6 c. water (warm)
- 6 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 cake yeast
- 3/4 to 1 c. lard
- 16 c. flour
Directions

1Mix together water, salt, sugar, yeast and lard slowly; add the flour and mix.

2Let raise until dough doubles in size.

3Punch down; let rise again.

4Punch down and put into bread pans.

5Makes approximately 5 loaves of bread.

6Bake at 350° approximately 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.

7Bread should sound hollow on bottom when tapped if done.
