Bread Cinnamon Roll

  • 16 slices white bread
  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/8 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Remove crusts from bread and roll out flat with rolling pin. Mix together cheese, egg yolk, 1/8 cup sugar and vanilla.

    Spread 1 teaspoon on each slice and roll up.

    Melt butter and roll breads in it, then a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

    Place seam side down on cookie sheet.

    Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Cut in half.

    Serve warm or cold.
