  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 1/4 c. bread flour
  • 1 1/4 c. rye flour
  • 1 tsp. to Tbsp. caraway seed
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3/4 c. beer
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Heat beer with honey, margarine and water (90° to 105°).

    Add to dry ingredients.

    Place machine on manual setting.

    Remove from machine when it beeps and shape dough into a round loaf.

    Place on greased cookie sheet, baking pan or casserole.

    Bake 35 to 45 minutes, until it sounds hollow when tapped.
