Bread Machine Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. milk (70~ to 80~)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 3/4 c. bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. yeast
  • 2 tsp. soy flour (optional)
  • 2 tsp. wheat germ (optional)

Directions

    In bread machine pan, place the first 9 ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.

    Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes mixing; add 1 teaspoon flour or water as needed). When cycle is completed turn dough onto lightly floured surface and punch down.

    Divide dough in half.

    Roll each portion into 3/4-inch thickness.

    Cut with 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheet.

    Cover.

    Let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
