- 6 slices bread
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 beaten eggs
- 3 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Toast bread and spread with margarine while hot.

2Arrange bread in a buttered baking pan.

3Sprinkle with nuts and raisins. Stir salt and all but 2 tablespoons of sugar with the eggs.

4Add milk and stir to mix well.

5Pour over toast; let stand 10 minutes. Mix cinnamon with the remaining sugar and sprinkle on top.

6Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
