  • 2 slices bread
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • butter or margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

    add coconut and raisins to taste.) Pour into greased baking dish.

    in pan of hot water in 325° oven for 30 minutes or until top of pudding is firm, crusty and lightly browned.

    Bread pudding should be removed from oven and allow to cool for 10 or 15 minutes before serving. Recipe can be doubled or tripled.
