- 2 c. bread cubes
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 qt. milk, scalded
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- nutmeg to taste
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place milk and butter in a buttered baking casserole dish and scald in microwave.

3Add beaten eggs, sugar and salt.

4Next, add bread cubes and raisins.

5Mix thoroughly.

6Sprinkle with nutmeg.

7Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until set.

8Test by inserting a paring knife.

9When knife comes out clean, pudding is done.

10Chill in refrigerator.

11Serve topped with lemon sauce.
