- 4 c. bread cubes, toasted
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 qt. milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Combine bread cubes and raisins in buttered casserole.

2Scald milk in saucepan.

3In separate bowl, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, butter and salt.

4Mix this and milk together.

5Mix well and pour over bread cubes. Set casserole in pan and pour hot water in pan around casserole, about 1-inch deep of water.

6Bake

7at 325° about 1 hour or until butter knife inserted comes out clean.

8Serve with Rum Sauce.
