  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 2 strip steaks
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 small red pepper
  • 13 c. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. water

Directions

    In 12-inch skillet, melt 1/2 tablespoon butter on medium-high.

    Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper.

    Add to skillet and cook 7 to 9 minutes for medium-rare, turning once.

    Transfer to cutting board.

    To skillet, add onion and red pepper.

    Cook 2 minutes or until softened, stirring.

    Add vinegar and water.

    Cook 2 minutes or until reduced by half.

    Remove from heat and immediately stir in 1/2 tablespoon butter until it melts.
