  • 8 yeast rolls
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 can crushed pineapple or 1 c. raisins

Directions

    Tear rolls into small pieces and soak in milk for approximately 30 minutes.

    Beat eggs and fold into rolls and milk. Melt butter in a 9 x 12-inch glass baking dish.

    Pour in bread mixture.

    Add sugar, nutmeg and vanilla.

    Mix in pineapple or raisins.

    Bake at 300° for 30 minutes or until firm.

    Serve warm or cold.
