  • 1/2 lb. stale bread
  • 4 c. hot milk
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 3 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Remove crust; cut bread in cubes and soak in milk for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Mix well and strain.

    Dredge raisins with flour and add to bread mixture.

    Add the rest of the ingredients.

    Pour in a buttered or caramel lined baking pan and bake at 325° for 40 to 60 minutes.
