- 1 (10 oz.) loaf stale French bread, crumbled
- 4 c. milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 8 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Combine all ingredients.

2Mixture should be very moist but not soupy.

3Pour into buttered 9 x 12-inch or larger baking dish. Place into non-preheated oven.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until top is golden brown.

5Serve warm with sauce.
