  • 2 slices soft or dry bread crumbs (2 c.)
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. milk

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Place bread cubes in lightly greased 1-quart casserole.

    Sprinkle with raisins.

    Combine eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, vanilla and milk; beat well.

    Pour over bread cubes.

    Set casserole in baking pan in about 1-inch hot water. Bake at 350° for 55 to 65 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
