  • 1 lb. loaf bread or equivalent, coarsely broken
  • 1 qt. hot milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. golden raisins
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Pour hot milk over bread in large bowl.

    Blend eggs, sugar and vanilla together; add to bread and mix well.

    Add raisins.

    Pour mixture into baking dish.

    Bake 40 minutes in 350° oven until firm and golden brown.
