  • stale bread (not dry)
  • cinnamon
  • 4 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Line a large baking pan with stale bread; sprinkle with cinnamon.

    Mix milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla; beat well.

    Pour over bread, slowly.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until no milk shows on top.

    Remove and let cool before cutting.
