Ingredients

  • 4 c. bread cubes, lightly packed (4 to 5 slices)
  • 2 c. warm milk
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • cinnamon and nutmeg (to sprinkle on top)
  • 1 box instant lemon pudding
  • 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 c. milk

    Combine the first 7 ingredients; spread in a large baking dish.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Let cool.

    Mix pudding with 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 cups of milk to make a thin pudding.

    Drizzle over cooled bread pudding.
