  • 4 c. lightly packed bread cubes
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. raisins (if desired)
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    In a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole, spread the bread cubes in bottom.

    In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, salt, raisins (if desired), milk, margarine and eggs.

    Pour mixture over bread cubes and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
