- 1 (1 lb.) loaf cinnamon-raisin bread
- 1 qt. milk
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- pinch of ground nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Directions

1Break bread into small chunks.

2Place in a large bowl.

3Add milk and let soak 10 minutes.

4Work mixture with hands until milk is absorbed.

5Combine eggs and next four ingredients.

6Stir into bread mixture.

7Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

8Bake at 350° for 50 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
