  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. cream
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Soak bread crumbs in milk and cream for 1/2 hour.

    Add sugar and eggs.

    Soak raisins in hot water.

    Add to mixture and add the vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.

    Pour in greased dish; pour melted butter over top.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
