Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. bread (white or whole wheat), cut into 1-inch pieces (about 2 slices)
- 1/3 c. raisins
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 large egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. reconstituted nonfat dry milk
Directions

1Place bread pieces in a quart casserole.

2Sprinkle with raisins.

3Mix sugar and cinnamon.

4Stir into egg.

5Add vanilla. Heat milk (do not boil).

6Stir warm milk into egg mixture slowly. Pour mixture over bread.

7Bake at 325° until tip of knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 40 minutes.

8Serve warm or cold.
