Bread Pudding With Bourbon Sauce

  • 1 lb. loaf finely cubed French bread or 12 slices white bread
  • 6 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 qt. whole milk
  • 1 c. raisins, plumped in bourbon

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients well and pour into a buttered casserole.

    Sprinkle top with raisins which have been plumped in bourbon.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.

    Top will fall.
