Ingredients

  • 4-5 cups bread cubes, cut in bite sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup rasings
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups milk

Directions

    Preheat oven 350*...lightly grease with butter or spray 9x13 glass pan. Place bread cubes and raisins in baking dish. Mix all other ingredients well and pour over bread and let it soak for about 30 min.

    Prepare water bath.. boiling water..carefully pour in enough hot water so water is halfway up sides of 9x13 pan.

    Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes oujt clean..or gently press down on the center of pudding.. if any custard comes up to the top, the pudding needs to be baked a little longer.

    remove pudding from the water bath and cool slightly.
