- 2 cups celery, diced into 1/2inch pieces
- 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine, melted
- 12 cup chicken broth
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sage leaf, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
