Ingredients

  • chicken
  • 2 eggs
  • dash of milk
  • Kellogg's prepared Corn Flake crumbs
  • Crisco oil
  • salt and pepper
  • onion salt

Directions

    Skin chicken.

    Mix eggs and milk together.

    Dip chicken into egg mixture, then cover with crumbs, pressing them into chicken. Brown in about 1-inch of Crisco in a skillet on both sides. Remove from skillet and put in baking pan.

    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and onion salt.

    Pour oil from skillet into baking pan; cover bottom of pan with about 1-inch of water.

    Cover and bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until when inserted with a fork, chicken breaks apart.

    Check occasionally while baking and if pan is dry, add a little water.

    The secret to my chicken is using Kellogg's crumbs, Crisco oil and don't overbake.
