  • 6 pork chops
  • 3/4 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. milk

Directions

    Add salt and pepper to bread crumbs.

    Beat egg and add milk. Dip chops in liquid and roll in crumbs.

    Put 3 tablespoons of fat into skillet and brown chops.

    Place chops in a baking pan or dish and add boiling water.

    Cover and bake at 400° for about 40 minutes.

    Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
