  • 1 c. crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

    Beat egg and milk together.

    Combine crumbs, salt and pepper. Dip fish in crumbs, then egg, then again in crumbs.

    Cook fish, skin side down, in 1/8-inch shortening.

    Brown on one side then the other.
