  • 3 Large Apples
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)
  • 3 tbsp raw honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup orange juice or apple cider

Directions

    Wash, core, and thinly slice apples.

    In pan, melt butter until it begins to brown slightly.

    Add cinnamon, cloves, honey, and vanilla.

    Mix together.

    Add apple.

    Stir until coated with mixture.

    Let brown for about two minutes, stirring constantly.

    Add juice.

    Remove lid and simmer on med - high heat, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
