- 3 Large Apples
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)
- 3 tbsp raw honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup orange juice or apple cider
Directions

1Wash, core, and thinly slice apples.

2In pan, melt butter until it begins to brown slightly.

3Add cinnamon, cloves, honey, and vanilla.

4Mix together.

5Add apple.

6Stir until coated with mixture.

7Let brown for about two minutes, stirring constantly.

8Add juice.

9Stir.

10Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes.

11Remove lid and simmer on med - high heat, stirring constantly until sauce thickens.
