- 1 to 1 1/4 lb. bacon or ham, cooked and crumbled
- 8 slices bread
- 12 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 doz. eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cook and crumble bacon or ham.

2Grease well a 9 x 13-inch dish with bacon drippings.

3Fill bottom of dish with bread (remove crust).

4Sprinkle cheese on top of bread.

5Spread crumbled bacon on top of cheese.

6Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

7Pour over bread, cheese and bacon.

8Refrigerate overnight.

9Bake in 250° oven 1 hour.
