  • 2 c. sausage or bacon, cooked and drained
  • 1/4 lb. sharp cheese, diced
  • 1/2 lb. Velveeta, diced
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 qt. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 12 slices bread (crust removed)
  • 1 tsp. dry onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 6 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Layer bread, meat, cheese and onion.

    Melt butter and pour over all.

    Beat eggs, seasonings and milk.

    Pour over.

    Chill in refrigerator overnight and bake 1 hour at 350°. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
