Ingredients

  • 14 slices bread, trimmed and cubed
  • 1/2 lb. ham
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 stick melted margarine
  • 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Pour melted margarine in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Layer bread, cheese and ham twice.

    Beat eggs and add milk and salt.

    Pour over bread mixture.

    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Uncover and place in 350° heated oven for 1 hour.

    (You may also use crisp bacon or sausage.)
