  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 6 slices cubed bread
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. powdered dry mustard
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • dash of cayenne pepper

Directions

    Brown sausage; drain on paper towels and cool.

    Put into mixing bowl; add remaining ingredients.

    Stir well.

    Pour into well greased 9 x 12-inch dish.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes until set and lightly browned on top.

    May be used for brunch or light supper.
