- 4 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. milk
- 16 slices white bread
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 c. cooked ham, diced
Directions

1Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl and mix well.

2Butter both sides of all bread slices.

3Dip each slice in egg mixture. Place 1 layer of bread in bottom of 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

4Cover with 1 cup cheese, all of the ham, the remaining bread slices and the remaining cheese.

5Pour remaining egg mixture over the cheese. Refrigerate 24 hours.

6Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking.

7Bake in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.

8Serves 12.
