- 1 lb. sausage, cooked but not dry
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese
- 8 slices trimmed white bread
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 c. milk
- 3 to 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Directions

1Use greased glass dish.

2Place bread as a liner in bottom, then cheese, then sausage.

3Sprinkle these evenly over the bread. Mix eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper.

4Pour egg mixture over bread and sausage.

5Chill overnight, then bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

6Serves 5 to 6 people.
