  • 8 slices white bread
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. sausage, cooked and crumbled

Directions

    Grease an 8 x 12-inch pan with butter or margarine.

    Place bread slices in the bottom of the pan.

    Spread cheese over the bread.
  4. 4
    Then sprinkle the sausage over the cheese.

    Mix the eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper and pour over the bread, cheese and sausage.

    Let the mixture soak overnight and cook at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
