Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage (any type)
  • 3 or 4 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded cheese (6 oz.)
  • 9 large eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Cook sausage and drain. Arrange bread cubes in bottom of greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Top with sausage and cheese. Whisk eggs and next 4 ingredients. Pour over casserole. Cover and chill overnight. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until set.
