Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground sausage
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • 6 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 c. green chilies, chopped
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    In a large skillet brown sausage; drain well and set aside. In a large bowl, mix milk, eggs, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well; then add onion, green chilies, sausage and bread.

    Pour into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Can be mixed up the night before and stored in the refrigerator.

    The next morning let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before baking.
