Ingredients
- 4 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/3 c. honey or molasses
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 3/4 c. Bran cereal (we like Nabisco 100% Bran)
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. sunflower seeds
Directions

1Spread rolled oats on a 15 x 10-inch baking pan.

2Toast in 350° oven for 5 minutes.

3Meanwhile, combine honey and vegetable oil in a saucepan.

4Heat but do not boil.

5Stir in vanilla. Remove oats from oven.

6Toss with nuts, bran, coconut and sunflower seeds.

7Pour hot honey mixture over oat mixture.

8Toss well.

9Return to oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring 3 to 4 times while baking.

10Remove from oven; add raisins and dates. Stir well.

11Cool.

12Store in airtight container.
