- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 can fruit pie filling (your choice)
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar well.

2Beat in eggs one at a time.

3Beat in the flour, baking powder and extracts.

4Mix well.

5Reserve 1 cup of this batter.

6Spread the remaining batter into a 13 x 9-inch greased pan.

7With a tablespoon, drop the pie filling over the batter.

8Then with the cup of reserved batter, dot it over the filling at random.

9Don't spread it.

10Bake at 350° for approximately 30 to 35 minutes or until it tests done.

11Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
