  • 1 1/2 lb. bulk sausage
  • 3 c. milk
  • 4 to 5 slices bread
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 9 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

    Cook sausage and drain well.

    Spread bread with butter and cube.

    Cover bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch dish with bread cubes. Sprinkle sausage over bread.

    Cover with cheese.

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over.

    Cover and chill overnight. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes, uncovered.
